Nestlé claim to be the “world’s leading health, nutrition, and wellness company”. That may sound astounding when in June 2021 a leaked internal document led to Nestlé admitting over 60% of their products were in fact unhealthy. Their vast range of pet food wasn’t taken into account in the leaked information, and given the influence of Nestlé, Mars, and Colgate-Palmolive on pet food regulations and education in Australia it is very unlikely any official investigation will be conducted on the health and nutrition of Nestlé pet foods.
